Feedback Skate.
Hi team,
The basic gameplay is super fun and the trick system works well, but here are the points that I think are missing or problematic :
- The graphic style is too close to Fortnite → it lacks a skate identity, more urban/dirty.
- The Hall of Meat/X-Ray when you crash was cult and really missed.
- It's impossible to hang onto cars; it was a fun detail but essential for the street vibe.
- The skatepark creator is missing: being able to create, post, and skate other people's parks would be huge for the community.
- Some areas (large intersections, streets) are too empty; it breaks the immersion → it needs more life (pedestrians, cars).
- The clip editor needs to be redesigned: easier to use, more options, and easy exporting.
- The return of Skate 3's posable camera (putting your phone down to film a run) would give the videos much more style.
- An offline single-player mode is essential, if only to skate in peace without relying on servers.
- A true career/story mode with progression: a fan system, competitions, sponsors, and a rise in notoriety would provide a clear and motivating long-term goal.
- The microtransactions and cosmetic prices are too high → it gives a bad image. It would be better to have a paid game with more affordable cosmetics, rather than pushing too hard on the store.
- The "player expectations" bug when launching a single-player challenge that freezes and forces you to restart the game → very frustrating.
Thanks for the work already done; the foundation is there, but adding these elements would make the game much closer to the spirit of the old Skate games.
