Console players should know which direction the gesture is assigned to when you're in the customization screen. 

Also, when someone buys a hand gesture, The San van Champion, as an example, there should be a symbol near the screen indicating that it's only off-board. Not as many people would have bought it, if they knew you can't do it on-board.
