It came to my attention that whoever was the graphic designer for the huf brand made a couple errors as someone who wears huf it feels weird to look at.

You (correctly) referenced the old 'triple triangle' icon, which featured a thin uppercase font. Notwithstanding, HUF Worldwide has since changed their font to a bold lowercase. And, where the HUF triple triangle icon was previously an equilateral triangle, it is now an isosceles triangle. So, HUF has changed both the font and triangle in recent years. Thus, naturally, EA added HUF's most recent icon to Skate.
