Is there a way to hang onto cars anymore?

This feels like a silly question I don’t think they would take this away from the game there’s no real reason for that. But I can’t figure out how to hold onto cars anymore. If they did take this feature out the only reason I can think of would be just flat out lazy, this game is going farther and farther away from actual skate culture. You aren’t allowed to get into fights anymore, you can’t hold onto cars anymore, the animation style seems so cartoonish. Skate became popular because it catered to real skaters, it made people actually get that realistic skate feeling. I love the game and it feels great but they have so much to add and work on. I dislike this style of business that they keep trying to push on us. Not everything has to be inclusive for everyone this game is about having fun and skating.
