Just add more body types...

Even if the character modeling in this game aims a bit towards the unisex zone, it still feels very restricting when having to choose a body type. Essentially, there are four body types that cater more to the female body and four to the male, and it's just not enough. It makes it less enjoyable to skate in an avatar that you don't feel represented in.

Adding at least four more body types, for each the "female" and "male" version, would be a great start. I'd specially like seeing more buff/athletic body types that cater to the female body; ones that aren't skinny by default, with broad shoulders, and with clearly visible abs.
