Missions not counting progress

There are SO many challenges/ missions in this game that just don’t count your progress. 
I have to complete the “own the spot” challenge for the AR missions but it just doesn’t count the “all in one sequence” challenge and it hasn’t for about a week now as far as I know. I can’t complete the story without doing this one first and I know other people who have had this same problem.
