grind the lips of bowls easier while carving, I don't always want air.
This has been getting better. Recently, when I pull back on the left stick before the lip of a bowl, my character shifts their board and grinds onto the lip pretty smoothly. I can grind the lip and pull my character back down into the bowl without an ollie.
I can get a pretty good carving session going now.
