Rerun Previous EAskate. Seasons
I think previous seasons should undergo reruns over this year or next year at some point - pretty cringe I have to tell a newer player a shirt comes from a pass they can no longer get. If using FOMO is still a priority, I dont think it gets ruined if you make old seasons available next year or even ~6 months after the season ended. Having more than one season to choose from for a newer player casts a wider net, they might buy a different season if the current season is meh, or buy both -- It raises the chance for a new player to actually spend money and they dont feel like they are massively behind
I don't think its that bad yet because I still see a bunch of newbies amongst each other. But from my experience it feels bad in MMOs - when you're around players who played the game for a while and they have crazy cosmetics and items. FOMO backfires here because they are in their own unique late game that is largely inaccessible. Many of their items are from limited time events, and even if you buy in on the next event coming up you still feel like a "plebian" (mostly because anyone "new as you" will likely get it). you have to keep waiting for events as the year goes on before it feels like you're a "veteran" or an experienced player of the game -- not to mention you still can't get stuff from previous events, if you wanted them. Owning stuff as a status is dumb sure but this is the type of goblin mindset FOMO tactics try to capitalize on.. I think it works when a game is new but over time it turned off new players like me (when I tried old MMOs) who see those long-time players and I go "bruh" when the game's wiki says "this item was available in blah blah event" - which then I quit the game. It sucks that I don't get to have my character be who I want them to be.
Fashion is a major component to style in skateboarding, so I think its important new players get a lot of options and especially a good value on cosmetics, the season passes are a good value because they each contain like a couple dozen or so items at 1000 SVB. Also starter packs from each season should be available again, regurgitated as bundles perhaps. it's weird they are treated differently than bundles and only appear at the start of a season.
Side point:
There should be more crew bounties or a new product box that provides basic colors of previous premium clothing meshes.
For every new mesh there should be a free black and white version of it (and if the black version is already premium, make the free version white). example of an item that needs this is the short shorts with kneepads, which are only in the colors of blue and red. others I suggest are a black newsboy cap, a non-leather black skirt, black normal short shorts, black (or navy) skinny pants, blank black tight crop top, blank black loose tank top, black tight tank top, and there's probably a few others
BTW it would be cool if a free player can get one or two premium items for free so they can have BASICS such as sk8 hi vans or whatever weird thing they want to make them feel special.
