Skate Has Huge Potential — Here Are Some Fun Ideas

I really enjoy EA Skate — it’s a game I can spend hours in without getting bored. The vibe, skating mechanics, and world feel great. However, I think the multiplayer experience could do more to encourage playing with friends and meeting new people.

Taking inspiration from Skate 3, adding more social game modes, challenges, or casual multiplayer activities would help make sessions feel more interactive and fun.

Proximity voice chat could also be a huge improvement. Skating is naturally social, and being able to talk with nearby players would make the world feel more alive, help people make friends, and create spontaneous moments.

Music is also a huge part of skate culture. Expanding the soundtrack or allowing more interaction with music would strengthen the vibe, since rhythm and atmosphere are a big part of enjoying a skate session.

Some additional gameplay ideas:

-An underground area in the city (like sewers, tunnels, or hidden spots) to skate — this would add exploration and a different atmosphere.

-Light roleplay-style activities such as pizza delivery missions where you skate across the city to earn points. If you fall, you damage the pizzas and lose money or score.

-Shortcuts through restricted skate zones: players could risk taking illegal paths to deliver faster, but if the police spot you they might chase you, increasing the chance of crashes and damaging the pizzas.

-Restricted zones in general where NPC police chase skaters if they’re caught riding there — reflecting real street skate culture and adding tension and fun risk/reward decisions.

Overall, expanding social features, music immersion, and creative game modes could make the multiplayer experience feel more dynamic, community-driven, and fun.
