Soul-less and Lacking of Culture

This game has no soul. The city is so bland, boring, and lackluster, especially with the new hideous cartoon graphics, and the actual *SKATE* parks are so tiny. There are no NPCs or Skaters; it's just voices in your head and an AR Robot. The best part about the other Skate games from the once-adored franchise was the competition missions and races against other skaters, and playing a game of S.K.A.T.E. with friends online. What does this game have to offer? Repetitive, boring "quickplay" missions that last like a minute or 2, where you do a line or fly into some object. You can't even join a friend's session without joining their party, which is limited to only 4. I don't know why the focus of this game was to completely downgrade it in every aspect possible. Gameplay, Graphics, Soul. All taken away, and the only new stuff we got was a micro-transaction store, and a goofy climbing mechanic (that probably took up half the time and budget) so we can go climb the top of skyscrapers to jump off and fly around like Superman.. in a... skating game. This is right up there next to Saints Row as the top gaming disappointments of all time.
