Spots and How to Own Them Bug

I'm unable to progress the game any further beyond the "Spots and how to own them mission". Specifically the hedge bustler part. After completing the objectives and coming out of the mission the AI bot thing just keeps saying that they'll "always set my marker to the start of a challenge, why don't we try again" as if I failed the task. I've tried multiple restarts of the game and even uninstalled and reinstalled a few times. This was on PS5 but I even installed on PC to see if that fixed it, but the same issue persists.
