We need more things to do…
As the title says we need more things to do. Firstly I’d say the game itself is fun to play but there’s not really anything that makes you want to keep going back to it, the fact that once you’ve completed your daily challenges there no other way to level up giving you no reason to play the game is concerning. I get its early access but I’d have thought there would be at least one game mode to play at this point. On top of that for an always online game (which in itself is worrying) there’s almost no ways to interact with other players, it’s just a map filled with players going around with nothing to do, it has a Fortnite waiting area feel about it. I’d like to see the Park Editor from Skate 3 make a return, at least then players could do challenges and such at other players custom parks. I also think seasonal game modes would go a long way to keeping things fresh because as it stands there’s only a few Halloween challenges that don’t take long at all to complete and the rewards earned through the events are sub par at best
when it comes to the shop the prices of things seem off, I have absolutely no issue at all with there being a shop and understand it’s there to earn money but the fact the Founders Deluxe Pack is almost the same price as a brand new AAA game is a disgrace. The Halloween items have been extremely underwhelming on top of the fact the newly added masks have to be bought with real money and the prices of said masks are off for what you’re actually getting. The items that can be purchased with the Chocolate Coins are decent enough but I’d like to see those items refreshed every few days maybe every week? The fact you can purchase all those items and still have thousands of Chocolate Coins leftover with nothing to spend them on just comes across as poor planning and I’d expect this to be resolved for the Christmas events. Also the fact the only way to earn the games premium currency is to buy it with real money doesn’t sit right with me, I understand it’s the games main way on making money but you’d like to think you could at least earn 50-100 San Van Bucks here and there.
The bottom line is there needs to be more reasons to play the game with new game modes and ways to interact with other players first, then you can worry about the in game store.
