Arcade Starfighter is broken; Please Fix!

Since this game is getting alot of new players, can the devs *please* fix the bug in Arcade Starfighter in which the enemies stop spawning or go out of bounds on the map, making it unplayable?

One dev even acknowledged this problem on the reddit thread "Starfighter Arcade is completely broken after The Chosen One update", saying they'll push out a fix hopefully that week... 6 years later and it still hasn't been fixed. 

This is critical for game longevity, I'd love to be able to play this years down the road like I can with the original Battlefront games.
