Audio glitches out when I connect to EA servers

I've tried everything in every thread I can find and nothing is working. The audio is fine for the entire time I am offline but the second I hit "Connect" and it doesn't give me a 721 error the audio pauses for half a second then comes back sounding like my headphones got run over. I'm using a bluetooth headset, all my drivers are updated, I tried a clean boot, and I've tried setting default communication devices. Nothing is working
