ti have a good pc and the game itself runs perfectly smoothly but for some reason it keeps crashing my pc when loading a game, in the middle of one, at the endm whenever really, its eespecially annoying because it shuts down my pc completely and forces it to restart. this issue is only happening with bf2 and ive followed all the advice ive seen online and nothings helped. any advice? im on ea app btw

I used to have the game crash my whole PC, but I eventually discovered that it was because my Power Supply had begun to fail.
It only happened in two games: Battlefront II, and FFVII: Remake. I had to buy a new Power Supply, but now the worst that happens will be that It'll crash to desktop on occasion.
Sorry I don't have more info to provide, but it might be something to look into? Have you tried reducing Graphics and resolution at all to see if it extends the time between crashes? Or are the crashes happening completely randomly?
appreciate the advice, yeah its totally random and just turns my computer off, sometimes as i load up a game, sometimes in the middle
On a near top of the line system, running the game below ultra, have had a pretty consistent issue where whenever a grenade goes off next to me there's a 50% chance it crashes my game and stalls my pc for a good minute or two, first game I've had this kind of issue on.
having this issue as well, can't be on the game for more than 5 or 10 minutes without it crashing. pc isn't even working that hard when it does. crashed from the menus today as well

Something similar happens to me, in my case the game just crashes very frequently, I checked drivers every time, I repaired the game in the AE app. I also used the NVIDIA overlay and I don't know if it should be like that but when the games load it uses 100% of my CPU to optimize the shaders instead of using the GPU.
