Battlefront 2 won't launch at all (Purchased via Steam)

I bought Battlefront 2 a while ago and it worked fine then, I played for a bit downloaded a few mods and it still worked but then I got a few more mods and all of a sudden the Battlefront 2 just never launched again I have installed and uninstalled it a few times as well as EA launcher, I also cleared EA launcher cache, I looked up multiple solutions but none worked and I also verified integrity of files many times, this has been a problem for me probably over a year. I don´t even get an error code. What happens is I press play doesn't matter if I do it on Steam or EA but when I press play the EA launcher says ''Launching game'' then EA launcher disappears and reappears and the game just doesn't launch. I contacted EA support like 3 times and it didn't help me at all. I really need help with this since I bought this game and can't even play it anymore.
