I've had problems with the game crashing to desktop for several months now. I've tried all the suggestions I was able to find here on the answers forum and other sources. I gave a dxdiag in a different thread, reinstalled the game, repaired the game using origin, attempted a clean boot of the game, and everything that official EA support and other users have suggested. I still play the game even though it essentially crashes to desktop 100% of the time, usually in the middle of gameplay. I love this game, its a whole lot of fun, so it is pretty discouraging to not be able to play.I'd be happy to try further suggestions if there is a chance of getting this fixed, but its been months without any success so far.Please help!

Move the "STAR WARS Battlefront II" folder from "C:\Users\UserName\Documents\STAR WARS Battlefront II", to the desktop, restart computer and run repairtool."

I do not currently use any overlays, and have tried playing the game after a clean boot which didn't help. But after Origin's most recent update I was able to play for about an hour and a half before CTD.

Still encountering crashes, and seem to be happening more frequently. Is there any indication that this an important issue that will be looked at? I know that its hard to narrow down what causes these kinds of things, especially when the program just closes without an error or crash report. It would be nice to know that the devs are aware that this is happening to a significant number of players on PC and that it is being looked into for a possible solution.

Have you tried to turn off all overlays like Origin in-game overlay, Discord overlays, MSI Afterburner and Riva Tuner Server, TeamViewer? Also, do you get any error message when the game crashes? try disabling the windows 10 overlay if you have that

I'm back, and unfortunately this fix no longer works as the game still crashes randomly to desktop. Please help!
