Count Dooku should has unlimited stamina because the yellow circle appears.

At 0:53 of the below video that player will activate the duelist ability from Count Dooku and the yellow circle will appear at the middle of the screen around from the white dot and that circle means that you have unlimited stamina but Count Dooku doesnt has but other heroes with that yellow circle in the middle of the screen such as Rey's insight ability gives her unlimited stamina and and that circle means that you have unlimited stamina.

  • I understand the yellow marker is wrong as it was created to flag an unlimited stamina moment, but Dooku doesn't get unlimited stamina. But then, I think the BUG is the presence of the yellow marker, and not he not having unlimited stamina. Is there anywhere else mentioning he should have unlimited stamina during duelist? I admit I didn't read his abilities ingame, but in the Patch Updates it doesn't say a thing about he getting unlimited stamina.

    Hello @RogueZeroRendar  and @tztheo1967

As RogueZeroRendar said, there was no mention of Dooku getting unlimited stamina in the patch notes, but I can see why the yellow circle is confusing.

Either the yellow circle needs to be changed so it cannot be confused with unlimited stamina, or the ability should be given unlimited stamina. The developers can probably look at the data and determine which of these two options is the best.

I agree that I dont know if the yellow circle should be removed or he should be given unlimited stamina, also I read his description in the collection menu for the duelist and it doesnt mention anything about his stamina or something like that.
  • Stamina is not represented as a circle in the game. True, it has been - but they've changed it to a bar above the health indicator.

But even if stamina was still a circle, I don't see how this would be confusing: Duelist simply changes your crosshair to a different, yet still small reticle to show that the stance is still active. Stamina has never been represented as this small, "holographic sight" style reticle, it was big and intrusive, consisting of many little bars (a lot of players even complained about it, hence its eventual change) - I don't see any problems here.

Also, giving Dooku unlimited stamina in Duelist would be quite OP. Those strikes are highly efficient already, and completely devastating when you manage to stunlock your opponent. I've never had the problem of running out of stamina with him anyway.

  • After an update heroes such as Rey , Darth Vader when they activate the middle ability which gives them unlimited stamina a small yellow circle appears in the middle of the screen around the white dot.I have added a video in my report and the circle appears at 0:53 because that player activated duelist but it will not give him unlimited stamina.

I understand what you mean - but I've always assumed that the indicator you mentioned is just a "status effect" reticle, not an "unlimited stamina" reticle. An added element to help players with tracking the ability without actively looking down to the right-hand corner in the middle of a fight.

Keeping track of these sustained abilities can be harder for players based on other visual elements, I'd guess that's why the reticle is different.

Rey has the most visual clues with color distortion and a circle indicating the ability's reach, so that one's pretty easy to track even without the crosshair change.

However, Vader only has this little darkening effect in the corners of the screen - and his HP boost of course, but that is also problematic: again you have to focus on a different part of your screen, and you can also simply lose that bonus health due to incoming damage while your ability is in fact still active.

Now, when it comes to Dooku, it's zero visuals: no distortion, no darkening, and no change in his stance; you can only rely on the little reticle.

So, as I said, my assumption is that the little circle simply means "your character's sustained ability is active" - it is purely coincidental that both Rey's and Vader's ability also contain uncapped stamina for them.

    Hey @tztheo1967

Thanks for bringing our attention to this 🙂

I can confirm that Dooku's Duelist ability doesn't grant him unlimited stamina. I will provide the feedback about the yellow circle to the team - I agree that it might be confusing to the players.
