They would only transfer you to financial support if you requested a refund, which needs to be done within 24 hours of first starting the game, since we're outside the 30 day release date.
If you want to get the issue resolved, you need to stay on with someone in tech support.
I never had requested a refund, yet I think they differed me to that department, but regardless to say, EA support was not able to help at all either

Like most tech support, the quality of EA tech support depends on the technician you spoke with. Try getting ahold of someone else, assuming, of course, you are doing everything they are telling you to do.
You very likely have a connection issue, not an overall Windows issue. However, if you have some time, you can do that Windows reinstall, as it will likely clear out some other garbage that's been accumulating over the years.

I have already spoken to now 5 technicians and they all have said they are unable to fix the issue, even with my following their every word.
I think I might cave in and just try to reinstall windows. Thank you so much for the help, I seriously appreciate it so much!
