Friends list still does not work

Question

i have been trying most the day to get into a game with two friends. i can get into a game fine of course but i cant see any friends list related things. it shows me as offline and im unable to change it. i cant invite them or see them as my friend at all to try and play with them. i have tried all the methods mentioned below. still nothing.

Convinced my mates to play. all hopped on. The **bleep**ty EA app doesnt work and they're all refunding. ea is worse than ubisoft
