Game Won't Start

I recently purchased Star Wars Battlefront 2 for PC. I haven't been able to launch it though. When I try, I get an error message that says "We're sorry, an error has occurred. We are unable to connect to EA servers to activate STAR WARS Battlefront II on this computer using your account. Please try again later"

I've reset my computer and my modem. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I even returned it on steam and purchased it directly from EA, but the same error persists.

When I reached out to EA customer service, they suggested:

"Okay So first please un-install the game and then restart the pc and then re-install the game and then connect your pc to your cellular network and then launch the game and after you are able to launch the game connect it back to your normal network again."

But that didn't work either.

I'm at a total loss, so any help would be great.
