Monitor turns black for 1-2 seconds when manipulating windows, out of game.
Hello, recently installed Starwars Battlefront II Celebration Edition (Owned via Epic Games).
Noticed problems with audio and performance on the first session, but fixed them by turning off JBL Surround Sound software. However one issue remained.
When Alt + Tabbing out from SWBF2 or any other app, more specifically manipulating any window and changing their properties, makes my monitor turn black for 1-2 seconds.
This issue has NEVER showed up on my PC. Only after installing SWBF2 AND running it for the first time, did the issue arise.
Now, I fixed the issue after reinstalling Windows 10. Note that I have 3 drives, C: (boot drive), D: and Q:. I have SWBF2 installed on Q: and EA launcher on C:
The issue came back after I once again ran the game. After that, even if the game is closed and EA games software is completely turned off according to Task Manager, the screen turns black for 1-2 seconds whenever doing the following:
- Alt + Tab (sometimes flickers multiple times), 2. Resizing a window, 3. Getting a notification via Discord while the overlay is enabled. 4. Pausing Spotify music via my keyboards button (less frequent)
I attached videos that show what it looks like when I alt tab out of a game or just in general how the flickering behaves.
I know one other person who has the same problem. He also says that only after installing SWBF2 did the problems start
