My weapons and star cards disappear when in a match

Really frustrating as I came to play BF2 again but when I went on it, I kept my levels but all my star cards disappear as well as my previously unlocked weapons and skins. 

i managed to get them back by loading my saved data but as soon as i go into an online game I lose everything and my Class levels reset. 

hopefully there is a fix as I don’t want to start again.
