Need serious help, can't play online. Error Code 1017

Hey y'all, I decided to re-download Battlefront 2 as my friend is now getting into it for the first time. As an old vet I found a new reason to hop back on. However, despite my 4G unlimited internet connection whenever I click quick play for all modes, I always get hit with error code 1017! I am so frustrated and just wanna have fun with the game before my ps+ runs out. If any further information is needed I'll respond but for now, I am in Oceania aus servers and my platform is a PS5. Also no further evidence suggests that the game is "dead" in my region, as recent captures from other players reach up to the thousand view range. Any help is much appreciated!
