Progress lost in BF2 for PS5?

Hi, 

All of my progress has been wiped from BF2 from PS5. On the main menu, it was showing as a character being a certain level, and then as soon as I selected that character in a game it reset back to the start with no star cards or cosmetics or anything. Then, in the menu, it suddenly reflects this reset number for a particular character or class. 

This is frustrating. Is there a way for my progress to be restored?
