Save Game Location

Hi All,

Where does this game store its save game data for single player? I had completed the campaign a couple weeks ago. Then, i got a new computer, and wanted to replay some of the missions. I use my own method of backing up my game saves. I use Acronis to run an auto backup every day on the files and folders that relate to any game save files, and have it place the backup to a USB. I then use a FreeFileSync to backup that USB to an external network drive.

I do not use cloud saves, as in the past i have found that unreliable and have lost many save games. But using my own backup method i have never lost a save game until now.

I backed up the following folders....

C:\Users\USER\Documents\STAR WARS Battlefront II

C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Origin\Cloud Saves

C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Origin\Cloud Saves

but after i restored these folders to my new computer my single player camping was showing that i had not started. I have looked in other locations but cant find any files or folders that look like a single player save location.

Does anyone know where it is? id like to add it to my backup list so i dont lose it again in the future.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I have the same problem, there is no savegame folder and cloud saves were disabled. It resets campaign milestones and arcade milestones, it keeps cards received, multiplayer milestones and settings.
  • Ye thats what happened to me, all the single player data was reset but anything connected to multiplayer was saved. Guessing thats because it was saved on their servers.

  • Ok so i have been talking to EA support this morning. It seems you can brows to this location

    C:\ProgramData\Origin\DownloadCache

In this folder thier should be some files xxxxx.file_crcs just copy them to a new computer and it should restore your progress. However i have not been able to test this as i have already lost my progress. I will start the Campaign again soon, then i will try to manual copys these files across to my laptop and see if it works.
