Settings resetting after closing game and restarting it

Question

When i close the game, the game resets my settings to before, including garphics settings etc.

So everytime i start the gae, the game turns back to fullscreen, which makes the game flash 20 times in black and bricks my pc for that time.

I'm having a similar issue. Tried disabling fullscreen optimizations, tried running as administrator, nothing works. My settings are apparently stuck with HDR set to on so not only does my monitor flash 10 times but it also forces itself into HDR mode. Shame that a game this old can still have major bugs like this
