Star Wars Battlefront 2 crashes

There's something very wrong with the game and the EA App in general. I wanted to play Star Wars Battlefront 2, but after a few minutes it always crashes with the error message "Star Wars Battlefront II is shutting down. This is the result of the Origin Client being terminated." I tried everything I could find on the internet and it didn't help. So I ended up uninstalling the game and downloading it again. The problem is that either the download runs for a few minutes and then gets stuck, or the EA App crashes completely. I played Star Wars without any problems until half a year ago. So I'm completely without the game at the moment. I assume that trying to install from discs is pointless, because they'll push it through Origin again. Dear EA, please be so kind and fix this.

    I sure hope that's an outdated error message and you don't have Origin on your PC anymore.

    Make sure EA app and the game aren't waiting on updates.

    If that doesn't fix it, post a DXDIAG report.
