*fails to start/ silent crash to EA App
I have the same problem, but the difference is that when I launch it from EpicGames, the game doesn't work and crashes immediately.
Found a fix for this issue!
In my case, renaming the folder from my native language to English did the trick. For example, change D:\[folder in your language]\STAR WARS Battlefront II to D:\[folder in English]\STAR WARS Battlefront II
After that, everything started working correctly for me.

If you mean the Folder in the install path, for me, it is already in English. I don't know if Epic Games is different.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\STAR WARS Battlefront II
That's how it is on Steam, but on Documents, there is another Folder with the name STAR WARS Battlefront II
C:\Users\(myusername)\Documents\STAR WARS Battlefront II
As you see, both are in English
Hey! From the very beginning, I chose not to install the game to the default directory. Instead, I installed it on a drive with more storage space, using a folder named in my native language. The installation path looked something like this:
D:\Ігри\STAR WARS Battlefront II
After the installation, no matter what I tried, the game crashed instantly upon launch. I uninstalled and reinstalled it using the exact same path, but the crashes continued. I spent two days searching for a fix on YouTube, asking AI, and browsing the EA forums, but absolutely nothing worked.
Finally, I uninstalled the game for the third time and installed it to a path with only English characters:
D:\STAR WARS Battlefront II
And just like that, everything started working perfectly!
I decided to share this here because changing the installation path to avoid non-Latin characters was the only thing that actually worked for me. I hope this helps someone else save themselves a few days of troubleshooting!
