We are unable to connect to EA servers to activate Star Wars Battlefront 2

I bought this game recently and really want to play it but every time i click play it comes up "We are unable to connect to EA servers to activate Star Wars Battlefront 2". I have tried disabling firewall/anti virus, flushing dns, reinstalling, clearing cache, and reinstalling origin.

    I GOT IT TO WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to completely reinstall windows. Thank you so much for you time though Atic 🙂)))))))))))))))

    Try to repair the game... Right click the graphic in your game library and do "repair game". I'm assuming you can play other games in your Origin library?

    Yes i have already tried to repair it and have played battlefield 3 before on origin

    Hey, @3APOANHY You normally get this error when Origin data gets blocked. Try tuning of the anti virus you are using.

    I tried those but it didn't work, I have no idea why data would be blocked.

    It says it can't be activated on my account, what would happen if i were to refund this game and put it on another account?

    Hey @3APOANHY so that error message has nothing to do with the account and a software on your system stopping Origin to commnicate.

    Try porting the origin ports on your firewall and router, this is to see if its network program stopping the commuinuication.

    Also worth to do is a clean boot your PC, this is to see if there is a program stopping.

    Didn't work either but i was told by support it could be because my processor doesnt meet the minimum requirements, but i don't see why that would give me an error about connection.
