Can't add friend's on Star Wars Squadrons

None of my EA friends are showing up in Squadrons, it actually shows I have 0 EA Friends. My account is linked to my XBox One in the About Me section of my EA/Origin Account but nothing is listed under Connected Accounts.

i cant add a friend on ps4 (im on pc) and he cant add me either.

How can we add each other?

Add them via Origin's launcher friend list. or via Steam friends lists.

If you add them via Steam, you'll have to restart Squadrons befor they will show up in-game to invite to games (no idea why, just is XD )

My PS4 friend and I are experiencing this same issue. I'm on PC and neither of us can send friend requests to one another. We're using each other's EA ID and it still says invite failed every time.

We are trying to play between PS4 and Steam, but whenever we try to add our EA accounts in game, it's says it is invalid. Any suggestions?

I can't and never have been able to add a friend by typing in their EA ID on the social menu. It just says "Invite Failed"

It's frustrating because I really want to play Squadrons with people and I can't!

Same! I've never been able to add friends since I got the game at launch. It just says invite failed.
