Hey EA Customer Support,I'm not sure what's going on but... I'm asking for help on a game that can't launch. Your first guy ask me for my email, which you should already have, and then the next two guys changed the goal post, putting words in my mouth, and tells me not to be frustrated with people cheating and gave me a link about easy anti-cheat... I'm genuinely concerned if your HR is hiring the right people for the job... I can't even launched a game I purchased so how can I even encounter people cheating in the game? Help please?-Jeff

I am writing this in regard to trying to boot up Star Wars Squadrons after reaching out twice to EA support. They were helpful but still having this issue. My drivers are updated with GForce, my rig is:NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 with Max-QDriver version 546.17Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.6GHZ15.81 GB RAM1920 x 1080, 144HzI have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, turning off my firewalls and adding the game as an exception, I have run as admin, I have verified the integrity of the files, and really done everything I have viewed on community troubleshoot. Please advise on what the solution to get this game working, and also why does this seem to be a consistent issue with this game? Thank you for any help.I have added compatibility screenshots as well.

Hey @Jayboe51 Would it be possible to get a bit more information? - Do you use an Anti-virus? - Are you getting an error message? - Does the game open then close or do you never see a launch window? Also when you have a moment can we run through the following steps? Check you are signed into Steam and the EA app with the account's that are linked to each other and owns Star Wars: Squadrons Check you have read-write permissions for your install drive. Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from Steam - Verify in your library EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery) Connection and Advance Connection Guides Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance Close other running applications on your device Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates Check Drivers, Default to High-Performance GPU: Troubleshooting Graphics issues Install/Repair your VC++ files for your SWS (Microsoft VC++ Link) Restart your device in Clean Boot mode, then just try running the client and game Thanks!

Apologies for the delay, To confirm do you have any other software running when you try to play Squadrons?

Also, would it be possible to try on a new user or admin account to check if the same issue occurs?

@EA_Illium I tried signing out of everything, and closing all the other programs and it still crashes like before.

Hi EA,
I'm also reading what you're suggesting. I don't have any other programs running besides the Steam client which I bought the game from. Other than that, no anti-virus, no anti-cheat, just a dedicated gaming desktop for gaming.
I also ran it under the admin and compatibility mode of previous Windows. Nothing works.
Any other suggestions?

To check, do either of you have the Steam overlay enabled? If so could we try disabling it?

@EA_Illium No Steam overlay. And just for the sake of it, i turned it on and tried launching, did not launch. turned it off, and tried launching it, did not launch.
