An error on our end caused your launch to fail. Try again a little later

I purchased Jedi: Fallen Order and Jedi: Survivor on Steam.

Fallen Order launches without any issues, but when I try to launch Survivor, the EA App displays the error "An error on our end caused your launch to fail. Try again a little later."

I've already tried:

  • Verifying the integrity of game files in Steam
  • Clearing the EA App cache
  • Running a Clean Reboot
  • Reinstalling the EA App
  • Reinstalling the graphics card drivers
  • Solved! For Nvidia cards, the fix was to use DDU to remove the current drivers and install an older version (581.80 from Nov 2025). Now it works!

  • I am unable to launch STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor on PC. When launching the game through Steam, it briefly appears in Task Manager and then closes. I consistently receive the error message An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later.

The issue started after updating my NVIDIA drivers and linking my EA account through Steam, as the Steam-linked EA account was not previously linked. When launching via Steam, an EA launcher window opens with limited features, suggesting a Steam–EA App integration issue.

I have repaired and cleared the cache in the EA App, fully uninstalled and reinstalled the EA App including cleanup via Revo Uninstaller, and run the EA App and all EA-related executables as administrator. I have set the EA Background Service to automatic and manually started it, launched the game through Steam only with the EA App logged in and out as instructed, and closed both Steam and the EA App before launching.

I have also disabled overlays, VPNs, firewall and antivirus software, and attempted clean boot troubleshooting. Despite all these steps, the game still fails to launch with the same error.
