Can't progress due to bug in cutscene

I just reached the end of the forest array mission and we get teleported to Tanalorr, there's an initial cutscene with two NPCs, then you move to a new area after a fade to white, and then I see from youtube videos that those same two NPCs are supposed to reappear ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxLu-c0vX_A&t=1745s 29m05s) but this never happens on my game. The NPCs just don't appear so I can't progress. If I try to leave the area I get teleported again to the same area but the NPCs never appear.

I tried reloading, quitting the game, restarting the PS5. They never appear, so I'm stuck. I don't want to start over because it just might happen again...

Please fix this!

    Yes, I am in the same boat. I waited until the PS5 Pro updates released to start the game and cannot progress with the exact same issue. Unfortunately, it appears that it’s just a small enough group of people with the issue that it’s just not being acknowledged, from what I can find online. It’s returned to the backlog of my games for now.

    I'm also on a PS5 Pro so it might be a problem just on the Pro.

    Also having an issue progressing where an L2 hook on PS5 pro doesn't show up. Just before that, doesn't give me the ability to ask Bode to remove electric obstacle but let's me cross it anyway, after that is when the hook can't be L2'ed. Can't play the game anymore I guess

    I have the exact same issue! I thought I was nuts, walking in circles, getting respawned in the exact same location. GAME BREAKING BUG! CAN'T GO ANYWHERE! FIX THIS!

    Playing on PS5 Pro.

    I solved it by restarting the game and right before the cut scene i set back all the settings in the PS5 Pro, to like 720p and lowest fps like that Dagan and Santhari appeared like they should’ve. At that scene you’re like 6 hours in, if you rush it you can get to the same point in less than half the time - so go for it. But a shame EA cant fix bugs like this, it would make far more sense if you could access previous saving points i cases like that!

    Did lowering the settings not work without restarting the whole game? And by fps I'm guessing you mean not use Performance mode,
