Devastated Settlement - Collectibles

Product: STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
Platform:PlayStation 5 Digital Edition
Summarize your bug I have gone through all of the Devastated Settlement, even followed a collectibles walkthrough, but my game is broken. I have collected every databank, every data disc, all the seeds, force tear, chests, everything but it is still showing 39/40 collectibles. Two of the koboh matter open paths are still showing on my map, but I’ve burned these already to get the data discs from them. When I load back into the game or rest and enemies reset, the same two koboh matters reappear, in the first puzzle area and second puzzle area. Either I’ve still managed to miss something with a walkthrough or there’s a bug and I’m not receiving credit for something I’ve already gotten
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I’m assuming the bug involves the koboh matter in the first puzzle area and the second puzzle area. The first puzzle area is when you walk in and there’s the glowing data disc stuck in the matter in the space there. The second puzzle area is at the start where there’s the running wall to your left and the koboh matter is on the wall just below you.
What happens when the bug occurs? I’m not receiving my last treasure collectible in this area
What do you expect to see? A fix so that I can get 40/40 collectibles

  • @TheDashingDuke If it was the one that i was struggling to find which was the on the platform with the chest that was underwater next to the grand couryard point it is with a scav bot that seems to bury pretty quickly even worhout using the force

  • If you open the full collectibles list from the map ("R" on PC; probably square on PS5, but it should say on the map), it will tell you specifically what you're missing. You should check that every single thing on that list is X collected out of X total. I'm guessing that you didn't actually get everything you thought you did, particularly if you were just going off an online guide. At a minimum, you should update the ticket with the count for each individual thing, to confirm that you really did get them all, and the game reports you having gotten them all in the detailed list.

  • I have had this exact same situation on PC. I have 8/9 treasures, and the icon indicates that I haven't collected the one behind the still-green Koboh matter in the orb room with the weather vane you push, but I have melted that matter a half-dozen times after collecting the data disk the first time. I only wish I'd kept track to see if the game stole the data disk back or it's just the UI not keeping up with things.

@Gormongous That's not a bug. (Or rather, the Koboh matter still displaying is a bug, but it's completely unrelated to the uncollected item.) Without getting too spoiler-y, you're making an incorrect assumption about where the item is located.

Yep! Just pieced it together myself and was coming to delete the post, haha.

  • @TheDashingDuke Hey everyone!! Thank you for the comments (sorry I never got back sooner, I didn’t get any notifications to responses). I just wanted to provide an update that this is NOT a bug; I was unaware that the scavenger bots held treasure and only found out about it while looking up collectibles guides for other planets and came across one with a scavenger bot. The bug still stands for the koboh matter not disappearing after I’ve “burned” it away, but not getting the final collectible in the Devastated Settlement is NOT a bug. Thank you!

@TheDashingDuke Scavenger bots: literally the worst. (FYI, there's a bugged one on the Shattered Moon that doesn't spawn properly: if you encounter it, the workaround is to rest at another area's meditation point, then fast travel to the one by the droid, and at that point it should be spawned.)
  • @ShotFromGuns Thank you! I luckily never had any actual bugs (aside from the bounty hunter one) like that, but it’s always nice to know about fix arounds incase I run into it in the future 🙂

@anything2112212 It definitely was that one. Thank you so much! The moment I realized that scavenger droids had collectibles and I went back to look at the Devastated Settlement list, I knew right away that I was missing one from a droid. Thanks again!
