Entrance to Jedha base first time from Sheltered Hollow rest not opening

Product: STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug After the storm on Jehda, Merrin/Cal does not open the door to get the base for the first time. No other path for progression is visible.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1) Start new game. 2) Reach Jedha and complete the sandstorm. 3) From the Sheltered Hollow rest point, complete the short platforming section, the first is a grapple and wall run, then a short climb. 3a) During path, a extra stim chest is available, issue happens with and without collecting it 4) After platforming, Merrin approachs a door but nothing happens with no interaction propmpts.
What happens when the bug occurs? No progression is possible.
What do you expect to see? The story progresses through the visible door to the base/path to the base either automatically or through interaction prompts.

I've checked the area around and can't find alternative paths, have tried entering training to soft reset the world(if that happens), and fast travel is unavailable at this point. So far I can't progress any more.

    Hello, 

    I've been having this problem recently on the planet Jedha, it's right around the time you leave the cave after the sand storm and are supposed to enter Cere's underground facility with Merrin. Apparently there's a cutscene that takes you inside the facility but it doesn't trigger for me. Could someone help?

    Followed Merrin to the gate to cere's base just after taking shelter from the storm.  She just stops in front of the gate and the game does nothing.  Tried restarting a few times then I got a notification saying my "latest sync was interrupted".  Backed track to the meditation spot to try and fast travel out and load back in but I'm un able to fast travel at that location and now that it saved once again I'm afraid I'm locked in with this bug

    If you're at the part I think you're at then it's not a bug. Try force-pushing the gate/door she is standing at.

    u gotta force push the door to open it.  Its not very intuitive but the circle thing in the middle is a button
