I usually run my 4090 at 95% power and base clock regardless. This didn't work for me. I even dropped it to 90% and below base clock. Crashes started happening every 5 seconds instead. Much worse than the 1 hour I had before.
Stock RTX 4090, not overclocked.
Game running very badly at 3840x1600 native resolution.
Constantly getting the DXGI error and CTD after entering Jedha Enclave, cannot proceed from this location, or do anything there.
Have checked game file integrity, checked file permissions on executable, the NVidia 4090 GPU is not overclocked, and is "as is" out of the box.
Still got the same problem.
Game is now unplayable.

1.5TB free space on game drive
756GB free on System Drive.
3840x1600 10bit Full HD monitor native 144hz set to 120hz for HDR output.
Have set graphics setting to low and still get error.
I really don't know where to go from here except maybe refund.
UPDATE!!!
In the Geforce Control Panel got to HELP/DEBUG MODE.
This does alleviate the problem, but not completely, it did allow me to leave Jedha at least.
I tried this. No dice. Same crash. Not enough time to even get off planet.

same error on a 7900xtx during cutscenes, now it started doing it when the game is starting and 'optimizing' every time...
everything is stock, so nothing is solved for me

Hi all, it's the 3rd day and the game still crashes at the optimizing game files screen... I recorded the problem here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=on5oUH3qYt0&t=278s
Should I just get a refund... this is so disappointing..

Before patch game just had bad performance issues now during optimising game files game crashes and restarts itself I verified game files and no problems there all I have don is update graphics driver.
Product: STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
Platform:Steam-PC
Summarize your bug Started game and as soon as it gets to optimizing it either crashes and restarts my machine or I can play, After patch I still get fps drop and crashes during gameplay.
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? no
What happens when the bug occurs? Restart machine on it own
What do you expect to see? A working game that I have not waisted nearly £100
Thought I would try it with ray tracing off and be able to play it. But seems still getting bad fps drop on high end pc, So the patch did not work at all.
- @HartOz This issue also just started for me since latest 1.05 update. I was having no crashing issues beforehand. Typical rushed patchwork leads to even more issues.
