exploration bug in Winding Ravine 88.9%

Summarize your bug There is an Unexplored Area glitch. No matter how many times you pass through, in either direction or height, it will not register as explored and does not let me get the 100% exploration achiviement. I tried moving on the story, restarting the game, some crazy ways to go over the area and nothing seems to work.
