While trying to stream through Xbox series X get error that ‘game doesn’t allow live streaming’

A hopeful fix has been pushed to resolve the issue some folks were experiencing with live streaming being unavailable on Xbox. Please attempt to go live and let us know if you hit any further errors.

I've also done all the steps and can't stream this game but can others. I'm in Panama.
Having the same issue. I'm located in Indiana in the USA. Other games stream fine. All settings have been double checked. I also ran into an issue last night where it would not upload a screenshot to the Xbox Network. It gave a similar notification as the stream one that said "this game does not allow...etc." Screenshots now appear to be working correctly and uploading as of 9:45am EST. I hope this helps in some way. Have a great day and thanks for working to resolve this issue. Absolutely LOVING the game so far! 5 stars visually and for performance on my Series X.

I’m having the same problem, trying to stream to twitch with the console and says “This game does not allow streaming.”
Region is North America, Pennsylvania
Also can't stream, in US, Xbox series x, Fallen Order streamed just fine this week. Seems to be a bug in this game.
I’m also having this same issue. I can stream every other game in my library just not this one and it’s very frustrating. I could understand if it was one or maybe two people then it would be something on the user side but it’s a lot of people having this issue then it’s the game itself. Please address this immediately we’ve all paid our hard earned money and we expect the game to run correctly. My location is USA .

It's working as it should now, thank you.
Glad it's not just me. I literally unplugged and hard reset my console and internet modem, reset MAC ID, cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled over the course of 4 hours and nothing. I even reinstalled the Jedi: Fallen Order game to see if that one worked and it did flawlessly. Meanwhile my Survivor stream only showed the XBox astronauts on their couch chillin just as disappointed and upset as my streaming community that things weren't working. Is there a fix? Other than the below comment of "it should work now"? 🤷🏼♂️
