Game has become unplayable because of lagging and freezing

So when the game came out I had zero problems with the performance. Never had any lagging or crashing and I was able to finish it from start to end with so much joy. But I think when patch 7 / 7.5 / 8 came out, the performance became very bad. A lot of lagging, even during the startup video. It's the worst on Koboh. Most of the time the game has trouble loading in all LODs, textures, and foliage. I even had some cases where certain areas did not load, which made me fell through the floor and had to restart the game because I didn't respawn back in. When I quit the game it seems that it's still doing something in the background according to Task Manager, and it uses quite a lot of memory for whatever that is. I need to force end it to make it stop.

I have no idea why it's so different for people playing the game. Some have no problems and others are in the same boat as me. My PC specs are above average and all drivers are up-to-date, so I have no idea what could be the problem here. I can play Star Wars Outlaws or Jedi: Fallen Order without any problems. After quitting the game, it still runs in the background for some reason according to Task Manager, and it can use up to 2.500 MB of memory. I must force end task to make it stop completely.

I've tried these things already:

- Reinstalled the game, deleted save files to start with a clean slate (back-ups made of course)
- Graphics settings all to Low
- Disabled VSync
- Disabled Motion Blur, Film Grain, Chromatic Aberration
- FSR2 set to Quality

- Game files integrity checked
- 'Hide all Microsoft services' in Windows System Configuration, then reboot and reinstalled the EA app (as told by EA Support)

- NVIDIA driver up-to-date (tried both Game Ready and Studio)

I have reached out to EA Support three times but so far nothing has helped me, and now they have sent me to the forum and ask here.

  • Few days ago I was told by someone from EA support that I will be assisted here, but nobody has come yet. Is there anyone available?

  • I am from the future. This hasnt been adressed in any form. It literally makes the game unplayable. I now have these micro freezes all 2s on Koboh. 
    And the Hardware is more than strong enough. Game is running on NVME obviously.
