Jedi Survivor Keep Shutting Down Xbox One X

Hello EA Support Team,

I'm experiencing a serious issue while playing Star Wars Jedi: Survivor via Xbox Game Pass on my Xbox One X. The game launches and runs for a short time, but then the console shuts down completely. This issue only occurs with Jedi Survivor , other games i owned work without any problems.

My console is fully updated, has proper ventilation, and I've taken precautions to avoid overheating. I have also tried clearing the system cache and reinstalling the game, but the problem persists.

I’d appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue. I'm happy to provide any additional information if needed.

Thank you,
Hakkı

  • 1. Check for Overheating

Even though you've ensured proper ventilation, the game might be pushing your console to its limits. Try playing in a cooler environment or using an external cooling fan to see if it helps.

    2. Adjust Graphics Settings

If the game allows you to modify graphics settings, lower them to reduce the strain on your console's hardware.

    Clear Persistent Cache

You mentioned clearing the system cache, but you can also try clearing the persistent cache:

    • Go to Settings > Disc & Blu-ray > Persistent Storage.
    • Select Clear Persistent Storage.

      Perform a Power Cycle

      Fully power down your console:

      • Hold the Xbox button for 10 seconds until it shuts off.
      • Unplug the power cable for a few minutes.
      • Plug it back in and restart.

      5. Install on Internal Storage

If you're using an external hard drive, try installing the game on the internal storage instead. Some players have reported better stability this way.

      Update Game and Console

Ensure both the game and your console are running the latest updates. Sometimes patches address compatibility issues.

      7. Contact EA Support

If none of these steps work, reach out to EA Support directly. They might have specific fixes for this issue. You can find more information here.

Let me know if you'd like more detailed guidance on any of these steps! I hope you're able to resolve this soon and get back to enjoying the game
