We don't have much control for issues with the Steam Remote play features, I would recommend trying the steps suggested by Vavlve here.

Illium, this is not a simple Remote Play feature issue.
The EA Desktop App update on 2024/01/16, version (13.104.0.5617) broke Steam Integration. In-Game Achievement notifications are affected.
For those who have retained the 2024/01/09 version (13.96.0.5609), it is possible to revert back and restore functionality. Personally, I don't have the old version in either my Program Files folder, nor in my Previous Versions/Shadow Copies to revert to. As I performed a clean install of the EA Desktop app to attempt to resolve the issue.
It seems to only affect Jedi: Survivor at the moment, but it does seem to be something that occurred as a direct result of the EA Desktop App updating, which indicates there is nothing Steam can do to resolve the issue.
For the moment there is a work-around which is to add the EA Desktop App as a "Non-Steam Game" to Steam, and if the EA Desktop App is not running in the background, then launching it through Steam should restore the Steam integrations. However, we still cannot launch Jedi: Survivor from Steam directly, as it must be launched through the EA Desktop App. This is extremely clunky, and a poor experience.

[Asking for information]
Hey Everyone,
Would it be possible to get a bit more information regarding this?
- Platform (or client):
- EA ID (PSN ID/Gamertag):
- Are you getting an error message?
- If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip...
- If on PC, please share a DxDiag file and an EA app Error ID Number
We can use this information, to help make the team aware of the issue and to further investigate.
Hey @cj_art Thanks for the additional information!
Cheers!

- Platform (or client): Steam
- EA ID (PSN ID/Gamertag): I don't use a PSN ID or Gamertag for my EA ID.
- Are you getting an error message?: No.
- If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip...: I can't screenshot the Steam Overlay, if it doesn't show up.
- If on PC, please share a DXDiag file and an EA app Error ID Number: There is no error. This is not a hardware, driver, or DirectX issue.
Is it really necessary for me to record a video of myself launching the game on Steam, and then hitting "Shift+Tab" to prove that nothing happens?
Is it necessary to record a video of myself trying to run Jedi: Survivor on two devices simultaneously, by starting it on a Desktop PC, and then clicking "Connect" on a Steam Deck or other Steam Remote Play compatible device?
Will I also need to track down a copy of the old EA Desktop App from 2024/01/09 and repeat those recordings to prove that the issue worked before the 2024/01/16 update?

Just figured out how to get steam remote play to work on my steam deck. What a janky way to force people to use the EA launcher. I hear tell this wasn't a thing until this year. Whatever EA did in that January update is a tyrannical middle finger to anyone trying to not use their bloatware that "enhances" your gaming experience with microtransactions.
What a sad show.
Hopefully the game is worth the headache, I enjoyed fallen order
- 2 years ago@Oglore How did you get it to work? What steps did you follow?

@Hawkeye8081 I added the EA app launcher onto steam library and booted the EA app up in steam before launching game. It is not enough to simply launch ea before launching the game through steam. You must first launch the launcher in steam, then you can launch the game in steam and remote play works* both ea app and jedi survivor must turn green in steam library to work.
*not many hours on this yet to say it for sure works 100%
