Very similar issue as well, still no word from EA. I bought Fallen Order and Survivor as a bundle, FO played fine but I've never gotten past the "something on our end" error for Survivor. I can't even refund it because they were bought as a bundle and if I want a refund for 1 it takes them both :( YOU'RE NOT ALONE!!
Several similar threads to this as well, I had previously played Survivor on xbox game pass, but then bought it on steam on sale bundled with FO. Current theory is there's a conflict between what EA has associated product key vs steam. No previous play history on FO, FO worked fine when bought/launched from steam, but having history on Survivor, even after a full uninstall/clean sweep of previous data, same launch fail via steam every time. Aside from letting the 105g just sit on my hard drive and test launch periodically (have done multiple clean outs+unstiall+reinstall+verify), there's been no communication back from EA regarding any fix or acknowledgement. Its been a few weeks since I last tried to launch, but 105g isn't something I'd happily let take up drive space on the chance it might miraculously work again, so its been uninstalled until I can get some kind of " Try now" from EA.
