Mantis is missing

Product: STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
Platform:Steam-PC
Summarize your bug Even after many email exchanges with EA support and following all the steps of clearing the cache in he EA app, I cant even see the error message properly: The mantis is still missing and im not able to continue the game. After the below screenshot, the game restarts from the previous checkpoint. I havent been able to move ahead in the game from a few months now..
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Its when he game asks you to CHECK on the Mantis
What happens when the bug occurs? the mantis is not where its supposed to be at the ramblers reach outpost, and when you go to the place where its supposed to be, you'll end up talking to characters floating in the air (as they are sitting in tthe mantis, but the mantis is not visible)
What do you expect to see? Im supposed to finish the CHECK ON MANTIS mission to head to JEDHA.

Please fix this ASAP or return the money. I cant wait for months to continue to play

    @DarthFDG, thanks a million to choose to help me outt here. Can i know what are the derails from that report do you need so that i can paste it here ? not comfortable potting the whole report.

    There are multiple sections of the report that may be useful. The only thing I've considered removing in the past is the computer name, as that seems to be the only sensitive piece of information.

    I have a top of the line Alienware gaming laptop, with rtx 3080, this clearly looks like a case of missing content. I have all other games running in ultra settings smoothly.

    Yeah, that picture does a good job explaining the issue.

    DXDIAG suggests you should try disabling your CPU graphics (in BIOS).

    Also, there are multiple issues unrelated to the game in the Diagnostics section. I suggest getting those resolved.

    This just happened to me on an Xbox Series X. (June, 2024)

    Error: the game is saying "check on the mantis" but I cannot.
    -Fast travel is disabled.
    -The Mantis did not appear.
    -The characters are in the saloon doing old dialogue.
    -There was a action dot on the empty platform but I did not use it to trigger the cut scene.

    I managed to solve it. Forums like this helped.

    I returned to the area where nekko riding was introduced

    -I rode the first nekko all the way back to town
    -this triggered the visual of the Mantis landing

    problem solved

    when I did this I learned I had skipped a part of the nekko tutorial:
    -at the gate where you learn to do a double jump, I continued and hopped on a new nekko. But when I redid this section, I hopped the gate, turned back, and realized you could open the door to let your original nekko join you.

    My theory is that the door opening is key for the game to understand the nekko tutorial mission is complete, trigger the next mission.

    what did not help:
    -I completed a side mission to find the musicians. That did not fix it for me.
    -I went into the Alignment Control Center. Interacting with the spinning cylandir caused a 'dangerous error do you want to proceed' warning. I did not proceed.
