Nova Garon Hanger Bay Exterior electric dart does not open door

Got this issue today on PS5 the mechanic above the door is electric but the door below does not open no matter what i do. I did travel to other planets and come back and tried shoot it many times with BD's electric bolt but the door stays locked. It's so sad they allow a game breaking bug like this stay in the game for years with no solution other than to restart the whole game.
