PS5 - Game Freezes upon entering hyperspace to Tanalorr for the first time

Game froze when jumping to hyperspace to tanalorr. Waited 5 mins, still frozen

Closed game and started game again. Black screen and loading icon bottom right frozen and no longer spinning. Waited 10 mins. 

restarted PS5, same issue with frozen black screen and loading icon (which is frozen after a few secs).

all up to date game.
