Rb will only call Nekko's

This topic may have been covered but I did see it English.

I install the game last month. It's version 1.0.0.13. No updates are available.

Evertime I  come across a point where I can confuse, lift or slam. I will call a Nekko if I'm in a place where they are, if not cleave swing, lung swing with a single saber.  Focus attack, double orbit with the double bladed saber, etc. So recap rb will only call a Nikko, if I can call one. If not it will only sense me hitting Y. So what stance I use, I'm standing there swinging my saber at nothing.
