Ok, so THIS IS THE WAY!  I tried it and it worked!  Then made my way to the nearest meditation point, of course.  The trick is to have some distance (not much) from the wall, turn your back to it, then do the double flip.  It's just enough running room to get some altitude and complete the jump.  But you have to keep hammering at it, as it has to be done PERFECTLY.
