Nope, I don't think they will be any immediate fix. Hopefully in coming updates (if there is any) they solve it. But I wouldn't hold my breath.. I just restarted the game on super easy so I can fly through to the point I played till and hopefully I can get pass there.

where you learned the mid air dash 

Hi EA.

Just wanted to say I'm also stuck at this point.

I managed to open the door and then get to where Merrin is. I then stopped playing for the day and when I came back to the game it loaded me to just where we learn air dash, I can't jump back into the wind tunnel and after I air dash across the first gap I come to the gate that leads into the wind tunnel but the gate now doesnt let me force pull it open.

I'm playing on a PS5 with a disc copy.

Unfortunately I don't have another saved file, just the 1 and it's not loading from a meditation point.

I've tried jumping off the cliff till I die, but I just respawn in the same spot, I have uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and the load file still spawns me in the spot with the issue of the gate.

(On a PS5) Just after getting the dash ability at the windy temple in singing ruins, you’re supposed to dash to a platform, pull the door open and recoup with merrin, to reach pilgrim’s sanctuary. The first time i did this, the door had a L2 (pull) trigger and let me dash and recoup with merrin, however right at that moment my power cut, and when rebooted, the game booted back to the moment i learn the dash move, however after dashing to the platform, the door no longer has a L2 trigger.  The door cannot be opened in any way, you cannot proceed back, or go forth to recoup with merrin. No meditation points nearby, so no fast travel. No multiple save points, so cannot go back to a working save either. I’ve tried glitching my way through the door obsessively, and still could not get through. Therein lies the point. I should not have to try to glitch through a door that should be open in the first place, especially on a game that costs 70 USD. These game breaking bugs would not even happen during the 360,PS3 era. Can’t believe they’re happening now. I and many others just want to be able to continue the game we all have invested many hours in. Stuck in a cave with cal’s we all have customized, waiting for developers from a multi million dollar company to care enough to push a patch, so we can finish the game we bought. An unplayable game getting a Ps5 pro enhancement, is the cherry on top. How about we first fix the current console and pc versions. Please, just let me, and many others just finish the game, this is beyond frustrating.

How long has this bug been around!? I'm 20 hours in and now I have to re start because a door won't open! This is  ridiculous fix the damn door @EA_Rtas . It can't be that hard.

I am experiencing the same issue on my PS5 and it happened last day at night. I believe this is the trigger:

1. Obtain Air dash Ability the first time.

2. After obtaining, go through the main route and reach the circle where lightning is striking.

3. Don’t save the game and close the game after reaching this circle.

4. Restart the game and Continue the Journey.

Afterwards, you will see that the door which was previously opened from the other side is closed and player cannot use force ability to push or pull out of this door.

please, fix this I love this game😭😭

Any updates?

I've put 45 hours into this game and now I can't progress. If this can't be fixed before the end of the month (November '24), I'd like a refund. I can overlook minor aesthetic bugs and the occasional glitches, but this door has rendered the game unplayable for me.

@EA_Rtas surprise surprise still no response. Shameful. 

When is the patch with the fix coming out?

@EA_Rtas are you able to provide us an update.

Honestly even if it's an update that there is no update. Being left unanswered is quite rude and frustrating. Particularly when this list of people keeps growing.

The game is clearly still being supported as there's been hotfixes since patch 9.

This bug is a soft lock which would be about as high severity as it comes when triaging bugs. Im surprised it didn't trigger the need for a hotfix alone. However, some explanation around what EA are doing to address this, as vague as it may be would be appreciated.
