I tried to download star wars jedi survivor ,but every time it finnishes download restarts and downloading starts again can someone help please? [Hero edit: changed title to be more descriptive]

If you search this forum, you will see you are not the only person who has had this issue. How much free space do you have on the drive where you are trying to install to? If you are on console, install the game to the internal drive. Try running "App Recovery" in the EA app.

Having exactly the same Problem. Bought via Epic (PC), installation not possible because the download immediately restarts from zero after reaching 100%/128,86GB (128.84, 128.85, 128.86, 0.1, 0.2, ...) in an endless loop.Tried on 2 different PCs multiple times, exactly the same behaviour. The PC's are connected via gigabit Ethernet LAN (no WLAN) to the router. Internet speed is 100MBit and absolutely stable (no reconnects or someting like this).Trying to install to a fast M.2 SSD with more than 2TB free space. The second PC has a Hard drive with also multiple terabytes free space.

@Dewill, I don't think this is the case. I tried installing to C drive where EA app was installed and I had more than 500GB free. I also tried another drive with 180GB free space and it didn't work. The behavior was the same on both drives

Got plenty of space as well on my disks, tried clear cache, temp folder and register. still keeps downloading over and over again.

If you search this forum, you will see you are not the only person who has had this issue.

How much free space do you have on the drive where you are trying to install to?

If you are on console, install the game to the internal drive.

Try running "App Recovery" in the EA app.

I already tried to clear cache but it did’t work also there’s plenty of space on my disk but thank you for reply.

i purchased jedi survivor from epic games and when i tried downloading it it restarted from 128gb back to 0gb i thought it was something that happens but then it did it 15+ times. my internet is stable, pretty fast, and i use cable internet. i tried disabling firewall, nothing, tried closing all side programs like steam, riot client etc. still nothing.i tried restarting pc, nothing. tried reinstalling ea, nothing. i tried downloading another game (anthem) and it downloaded normally so i dont know what the problem is but i need help with it. i want to play the game i bought, but i cant. i need help asap.

Having the same problem. Will wait 48 hours and if the issue persist gonna refund. Having dirty words on tip of my tongue about the state of AAA gaming, EA incompetence, useless and buggy launchers etc .. but not gonna say anything O.o

I bought the game on different store which doesn't download the game via EA app. It works now. If you can refund, that may be a workaround.
EDIT: Before I refunded I tried to download it via EA 3 days in a row. Downloaded it approx. 20 times.

Same problem, I've downloaded it about 10 times and it keeps going round and round. I'm disappointed. Unfortunately, I bought the game in a box, I have no way to return it in EA app. I'm disappointed
I hope EA will fix this soon.

Sad you cannot refund as I will refund in 24 hours if there is no reaction from any EA stuff. ☹️

EA games are not even the dignity to admit this bug ☹️ Like there are topics on this formu 6 hours old being reacted by EA stuff. How old is this and simillar topics without any reaction on this forum? The oldest posts about download loop (without resolution) being from April 2023...

Funny, there are forum posts that are like 6 hours old being reacted to from EA crew yet here is silence. This is a big red flag -> they know about it, they have NO solution in sight and they are letting this issue to rot out This is bacially AAA company scam, nothing more. If I was the developing company of Jedi Survivor I would sue EA for deiberatelly destroying the (possible profit from the) game.

We really shold refund and let anybody know this game and company is a scam. Lets' write tou customer support of our game platform and inform them about Star Wars: Survovir scam ... this is the only thing we can do... I hesitated to buy Survivor EXACTLY because I the game has such a bad reputation with bugs and I did not trust EA. WIll never buy any game from EA again and will strongly discurage all my friends from it.
